The teacher is responsible for developing and administering grade-level curriculum consistent with Diocesan goals, promoting a safe classroom environment, and translating lesson plans into differentiated learning experiences for students. Duties also include ongoing assessment, encouraging parental involvement, and active participation in school activities and committees.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree applicable to teaching and hold or be eligible for a Professional or Temporary Florida Educator Certificate. Essential qualifications include a strong understanding of current teaching methods, excellent communication skills, knowledge of school curriculum, and the ability to pass a mandatory FDLE Level 2 background check.
