Day Camp Counselor

The primary responsibility is to provide a safe, fun, and caring environment for children in the summer day camp program, which includes leading assigned activities and implementing necessary procedures. Counselors must lead children through activities enthusiastically and consistently adhere to child release processes.

Candidates must be 18 years of age, reliable, and responsible, while also acting as a mandated reporter requiring specific child abuse training compliance within 30 days of employment. Applicants must also meet pa act 153 clearances and possess an appreciation for the salvation army's mission.
