Special Education Teacher

Key responsibilities include developing tailored lesson plans, supervising paraprofessionals, and managing the classroom's positive behavior intervention and supports (Pbis) program. The role also requires attending iep meetings, writing updates, and ensuring documentation compliance with state and district standards.

Candidates must possess an arizona department of education standard professional special education teaching certificate or endorsement, along with a bachelor's degree; a master's degree in special education is strongly recommended. Preferred qualifications include 2-5 years of experience with students needing learning or social-Emotional support, proficiency in english, and strong organizational and problem-Solving abilities.
