The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech and language assessment, therapy, and consultation services to preschool students within an early childhood program. This involves partnering with staff and families to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and ensuring compliance with state requirements.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or a related field, along with New York State certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) or Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. Maintaining current New York State licensure and certification throughout employment is mandatory.
The Anderson Center for Autism is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech‑Language Pathologist to support preschool‑aged students at our Mt. Marion location. In this role, the Speech‑Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech and language assessment, therapeutic intervention, and consultation services within an interdisciplinary early childhood program. The SLP partners with educators, families, and related service providers to promote functional communication, social interaction, and developmental progress while ensuring services align with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) and New York State requirements.
