This role assists the head coach in coordinating, guiding, directing, and supervising the women’s rowing program, which includes coaching student-Athletes, managing fleet and boathouse maintenance, and monitoring academic progress. Key duties also involve program development, fundraising, recruiting efforts, operations, budget oversight, and team travel coordination.

Requirements summary

A bachelor's degree and competitive rowing experience are required for this position, which is open only to current university of san diego employees. Candidates must also obtain several certifications within six weeks of employment, including cpr/Aed, the ncaa coaches’ recruiting test, a california driver’s license, and appropriate us coast guard safety certification.
