Youth Development Teacher

The youth development teacher directly works with youth aged 5-12 in a before/After-School setting, leading program management, supervision, and the planning and facilitation of engaging activities to help youth learn and grow as citizens. Responsibilities include actively supervising participants, ensuring their safety, providing positive behavior guidance, and collaborating with school personnel to align academic activities.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, and must have completed 12 units in child development or a related field, or be currently enrolled to complete the requirement. Candidates must also pass background checks, physical exams, provide proof of required immunizations, and obtain pediatric cpr and first aid certification within 30 days of hire.
