TK Teacher 2026-2027 (Internal Candidates Only)

Transitional kindergarten teachers are responsible for preparing and implementing lesson plans based on california preschool learning foundations to aid student understanding, focusing on developmental skills like social-Emotional and school readiness. Responsibilities also include assessing student progress, maintaining records, participating in professional development, and supporting student independence with toileting and hygiene routines.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a california state multiple subject and/Or pk-3 early childhood education (Ece) specialist instruction credential, or equivalent qualifications such as 24 ece units or relevant professional experience. Demonstrated mastery in classroom skills like management, planning, and assessment is required.
