Learning Specialist in the Primary School

This role involves coordinating with the lead learning specialist to implement academic support services, focusing on designing and delivering individualized and small group instruction in reading, mathematics, and executive functioning skills for students needing targeted intervention. Responsibilities also include assessing, monitoring, and documenting student progress while supporting classroom teachers with accommodations and communication.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (Advanced degree preferred) in education or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a school setting. Preferred qualifications include reading specialist certification, coursework aligned with the science of reading, and strong training in the orton-Gillingham approach.
