Lower School General Studies Teacher Grades 1-5

General studies teachers in grades 1-5 instruct students in reading, writing, and social studies, and potentially mathematics, utilizing structured literacy and hands-On investigative units. Responsibilities also include creating a joyful, interactive learning environment and positively partnering with colleagues for curriculum planning.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in elementary education or a related field, with a master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 1-3 years of successful formal lead-Teaching experience. Desirable candidates will have experience with structured literacy, investigative math units, and strong classroom management skills.
