Officer

Public safety officers are tasked with maintaining a safe and secure campus environment through vehicle, foot, and bicycle patrols, responding to and investigating various incidents including crimes and medical emergencies. They also enforce parking regulations and college policies, provide public relations services, and conduct security inspections.

A high school diploma or ged is required, though a bachelor's degree is preferred; prior law enforcement experience may substitute for the degree. Candidates must obtain or possess pa act 235 certification, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a pennsylvania act 153 clearance check.
