Direct Support Professional- Education

Direct support professionals support clients with their daily lives, including health and personal cares, therapeutic, educational, recreational, and leisure activities for individuals with disabilities to promote maximum growth and learning. They assume responsibility for carrying out individual plans and supporting the development of community connections.

Candidates must complete the anne carlsen center training program and be able to learn and perform personal cares, behavioral, education, and therapeutic programs. Minimum education required is a high school diploma or equivalent, and applicants must be able to communicate effectively and provide proof of vehicle ownership and insurance if driving for business use.
