University Prep Schools Paraprofessional (26/27 SY)

Paraprofessionals assist the classroom teacher with the educational and social development of all students, primarily by providing instructional support to individuals or small groups as directed. They also supervise students during non-Academic times and help maintain an orderly classroom environment.

Candidates must have completed two years of higher education (60 semester hours) or obtained an associate’s degree or higher, along with passing a state-Approved basic skills assessment like the ets parapro or mttc. Proficiency in microsoft office suite and strong communication and time management skills are also required.
