Early head start teacher

The ehs teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing learning environment for infants and toddlers, planning developmentally appropriate activities, and ensuring children are school-Ready. This role involves active supervision, collaboration with a co-Teacher, meeting children's physical and developmental needs, and engaging with families.

A minimum requirement is a child development associate (Cda) credential or comparable credential, along with training or coursework focused on infant and toddler development. Preferred qualifications include an associate's degree or higher in early childhood education and one year of experience working with infants and toddlers.
