Substitute Teacher - CDC

The substitute teacher assists with the overall classroom atmosphere, curriculum delivery, and fostering each child's development to their full potential while maintaining open communication with parents and staff. Essential duties include upholding the ymca mission, ensuring child health and safety, maintaining a welcoming environment, and adhering to all licensing regulations and procedures.

Candidates must enjoy working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years and possess the ability to care for them in a group setting, demonstrating teamwork skills. Requirements include being at least 18 years old, passing a drug test, and obtaining cpr/First aid certification and core curriculum training within specified post-Hire periods.
