Core responsibilities
The counseling specialist supports student wellbeing and academic success by providing comprehensive, student-Centered services including individual and group counseling, mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and case management. This role also involves developing and facilitating mental health awareness workshops and coordinating care with campus departments and community partners.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in counseling or social work, along with a minimum of two years of full-Time related experience covering assessment and management of mental health issues for adults and/Or adolescents. Applicants are required to hold or be eligible for an lpc or lmsw license in the state of idaho.
