Core responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to assist early childhood cares specialists by preparing and utilizing appropriate curriculum to foster growth and learning across all developmental areas for children receiving early intervention/Early childhood special education services. The assistant will also help implement individualized goals, facilitate integration into community preschools, and may observe and record behavioral data.
Requirements summary
Minimum qualifications require either twenty semester hours of college coursework in early childhood education, child development, or special education; a child development associate (Cda) credential; or one year of full-Time experience in a certified day care or comparable child care program. Candidates must also pass background checks, including fingerprinting, and maintain enrollment in the oregon employment department child care division central background registry.
