Residential Counselor (full-time and part-time needed)

The primary function is to act as a team member in maintaining an environment that helps youth develop positive changes in attitude, values, and behavior within a community-Based group home setting. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of childcare, overseeing physical care, providing behavior support, helping youth meet service plan goals, and serving as a positive role model.

Candidates should ideally possess at least six months of experience working with children with mental health diagnoses in residential or clinical settings, demonstrating competence in a group home environment. Essential requirements include maintaining current certifications in behavior management, cpr/First aid, and medication aide training, along with a willingness to work towards qppmh certification.
