Behavioral Aide

The primary function is to assist in creating an environment that enables students to make positive changes in emotional regulation and behavior through coaching, modeling, and support throughout the school day. Responsibilities include teaching behavioral-Emotional strategies, managing escalations, maintaining supervision, and collaborating with school staff on student behavior implementation.

Candidates must possess the temperament to work with children with special needs and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics, along with excellent communication skills. A high school diploma is required, and experience working with students with various disabilities is preferred, along with necessary certifications in behavior management and cpr/First aid.
