Respiratory Care Student

The role involves providing evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients within the scope of a student practitioner, including administering treatments and monitoring patient responses under supervision. Responsibilities also include patient education regarding diseases and medications, and potentially responding to medical emergencies.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a respiratory therapy program and require no prior experience. Required certifications vary by location but generally include basic life support (Bls hcp) and specific state permits or letters of acknowledgment for provisional practice.
