Pharmacist Resident (S)

The resident develops clinical pharmacy practice skills consistent with ashp standards, working collaboratively to optimize patient care through rational, safe, and cost-Effective drug therapy. Duties include providing pharmaceutical care, evaluating literature, rounding with providers, and overseeing the medication dispensing process, including technician supervision.

Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree (Pharm.d or bachelor of pharmacy) from an acpe accredited school, with no prior experience explicitly required for this residency role. A basic life support healthcare provider (Bls hcp) certification is required within 90 days of employment, along with holding or obtaining the relevant state pharmacist license.
