Core responsibilities
The academic advisor will provide quality academic advisement to an assigned caseload of up to 220 first-Year college students, educating them on degree requirements, policies, and campus resources. They will also counsel students facing academic obstacles, maintain accurate records, and assist with new student orientation.
Requirements summary
A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree along with work experience at a high school or higher education institution assisting high school seniors, prospective students, or current college students with their academic needs. A master's degree and prior one-On-One advising experience with first-Year college students are preferred qualifications.
