Associate Teacher (Early Childhood Education)

The associate teacher collaborates with the lead teacher to plan and execute the daily education program, ensuring it is developmentally appropriate and meets all program standards while maintaining classroom safety and order. Key duties include observing and documenting child development, fostering positive relationships, assisting with curriculum implementation, and actively engaging with parents regarding child progress.

A minimum requirement is an associate degree in early childhood education or child development, or an associate’s degree in a related field, with the mandatory attainment of a child development associate (Cda) certification. Six months of prior teaching experience in an early childhood program is preferred, and candidates must successfully pass a compliance-Meeting background check.
