Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant School COTA

The certified occupational therapist assistant will provide therapy services to prek-12 students, conduct assessments, develop individualized education program (Iep) plans, and evaluate student progress. Responsibilities also include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams such as therapists, educators, and parents.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and hold an active new mexico cota license along with nbcot certification. Experience working with children and a strong foundation in sensory integration are required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff.
