Long Term Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

Substitute teachers will support gsrp and head start classrooms by assisting with daily routines, instructional activities, and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom culture. They will also help implement age-Appropriate learning experiences using district-Approved curriculum and encourage positive behavior.

Candidates must have a minimum qualification of a cda, associate’s degree, or 18+ credits in early childhood education, child development, or a related field. Essential qualities include believing in high expectations for young learners, valuing strong relationships, and being comfortable working with children who have diverse learning needs and abilities.
