Teacher Aide - Head Start - Klawock (Part Time - Benefit Eligible)

The teacher aide assists the lead teacher in all center activities, implementing lesson plans, conducting family interactions, and incorporating various component plans like education, health, and disability support. Essential functions include developing positive relationships, preparing materials, modeling behavior during mealtimes, supporting classroom areas, and managing small groups of children.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, a child development associate (Cda) credential, one year of experience working with young children in a group setting, and current first aid/Cpr and food worker certificates. Preferred qualification is an aas degree in early childhood education.
