Core responsibilities
The instructional assistant directly supports clients in the education program by implementing treatment plans, assisting the academic teacher with instruction and material preparation, and monitoring client progress through data collection. Responsibilities also include ensuring client health, safety, and well-Being, managing behavior, and maintaining a supportive environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 19 years old, possess a high school diploma or ged with 6 months of relevant experience, or an associate's degree with 3 months of experience, or a bachelor's degree in human services. A valid driver's license with an acceptable record and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen are mandatory.
