Substitute Registered Behavior Technician (Leeward School Based)

Rbts work directly with students diagnosed with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities to implement service plans, reduce challenging behaviors, and increase functional skills within the classroom environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with teachers, documenting interventions, collecting behavior data, and supporting students in developing interpersonal skills and independence in their school routines.

Candidates must be a registered behavior technician (Rbt) certified and at least 18 years old, with one year of rbt experience preferred. A minimum educational requirement includes an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits including specific math and english courses, or passing the parapro praxis assessment.
