- La Esperanza Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher who is fluent in Spanish and English. The Lead Teacher will create and implement engaging lesson plans, guide assistant teachers, and foster a positive, structured learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate is nurturing, organized, culturally responsive, and committed to supporting the development of bilingual learners. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging lesson plans
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
- Promote Spanish language development in the classroom
- Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom floaters
- Maintain positive communication with families
- Observe and document children’s development and progress
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and learning environment
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures including all state licensing and accrediting organization regulations

Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and meet licensing requirements
