Education support specialist

The primary focus is ensuring all children on priority population contracts receive developmentally appropriate, learning environments by overseeing and directing teaching staff in implementing effective classroom management and curriculum delivery for both centers and family child care homes. This role also promotes individualized learning for all children, focusing on priority population contracts, and assists with curriculum evaluation using various assessment tools.

Candidates must possess a degree in early childhood education, social work, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in a child care center or early education program within the public school system. Desirable knowledge includes effective classroom management, trauma-Informed practice, and familiarity with class, pyramid model, iters, ecers, and sacers assessments.
