Special Education Teacher

The teacher will diagnose and address student learning, social, and emotional skill gaps by collaborating with school teams and families to deliver personalized guidance and evidence-Based instructional models. Responsibilities include developing individualized lesson plans, implementing behavior management strategies, maintaining required documentation like ieps and bips, and tracking student progress.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold a valid teaching credential appropriate to the role, specifically csde 165 certification. The role requires commitment to learning, adaptability, flexibility, and the physical capacity to manage student needs, including lifting up to 50 pounds and responding swiftly to situations.
