Behavior Technician

The behavior technician provides professionally guided support to clients and families facing significant behavioral risks, acting as a temporary on-Site liaison to improve safety and facilitate the implementation of minimally restrictive behavioral strategies. Essential duties include following clinician guidelines, assisting with data collection, implementing behavior plans, training caregivers, and maintaining accurate behavioral records.

Candidates must have either a bachelor's degree in human services with at least 2 years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 4 years of professional experience in developmental disabilities, plus one year implementing formal behavior plans. Completion of the 40-Hour behavioral technician training within 90 days of employment is also required.
