Independence Coach

The coach sets individuals with disabilities on a path to learn skills for independent living, employment, and community engagement by creating service plans, mapping community resources, and teaching technology use. Responsibilities include meeting clients monthly, teaching life skills like travel, building social networks, and connecting individuals with necessary support services.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 21 years old, holding a valid tennessee driver's license with an f endorsement and maintaining auto insurance. Required abilities include being an experienced technology user, possessing excellent organizational and communication skills, and the capacity to model a positive professional environment.
