Position Title: Teacher Status: Full-Time, Exempt Reports to: Principal

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled, and dedicated 5th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our Catholic elementary school community. The ideal candidate will inspire a love for reading and writing while nurturing students’ academic growth, moral development, and spiritual formation in alignment with Catholic values. Candidates are not required to be Catholic.

  • Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned with grade-level standards, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking/listening skills Foster a classroom environment rooted in respect, compassion, and Catholic teachings Integrate faith-based perspectives and Gospel values into daily instruction when appropriate Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback to students and families Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, texts, and technology to support student learning Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to ensure student success Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and community events
