Academic Advisor

The academic advisor provides developmental academic advising using a case management approach, assisting students in defining goals, understanding program requirements, and developing basic registration skills. Key duties include referring students to appropriate resources, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and coordinating with other college departments to ensure accurate advising materials.

A bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience in academic advising, admissions, career counseling, or a related higher education area, or one year of experience.
