Prevention Educator

The prevention educator will be responsible for providing prevention education and program planning for youth and adults, which includes generating, scheduling, and facilitating presentations on domestic/Dating violence, sexual assault/Abuse, and elder abuse. This role also involves assisting with department projects, engaging men and boys, and providing direct client services as needed.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in education, public health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. Essential qualifications include strong training and facilitation skills, thorough knowledge of domestic and sexual violence including elder abuse, and the ability to provide trauma-Informed services and crisis intervention.
