Day Program Assistant

The day program aide is responsible for assisting adults with disabilities in the adult training facility with various activities including vocational training, life skills, and hygiene, while also observing and reporting on participant accomplishments. Staff will also transport participants in an agency vehicle for community engagement and fun activities.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma/Ged, a current driver's license for operating an agency vehicle, and the ability to obtain and maintain cpi certification, first aid, and cpr certification. Candidates must also be able to lift, push, or pull up to 200 pounds with assistance.
