Core responsibilities

The teacher will lead instruction for k-5 students with ieps by designing personalized learning experiences, delivering targeted instruction using innovative resources, and managing caseload responsibilities including developing and implementing ieps. Responsibilities also involve creating an inclusive environment, modeling and reinforcing pbis strategies, and tracking student progress through comprehensive documentation.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field and hold or be in the process of obtaining an illinois professional educator (Pel) and learning behavior specialist (Lbs1) credential. Prior experience in curriculum development, differentiation, special education compliance, and working with ieps is highly preferred, along with proficiency in relevant technology and strong communication skills.
