FT/PT- Youth Care Professional

The youth care professional creates a therapeutic, nurturing, structured, and protective environment for youth in a residential setting, assisting them in developing life and social skills while ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met daily. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, managing crises using tci techniques, supervising residents, and maintaining all required documentation and safety standards.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though an associate's degree is preferred. Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed and must possess a valid nys driver's license in good standing. Successful completion and maintenance of therapeutic crisis intervention (Tci) certification, including physical demonstrations, is mandatory for continued employment.
