Core responsibilities

The doula will provide essential home visiting services to families in designated areas, maintaining open relationships to promote parent-Child bonding and adhering to all agency policies and regulations. Key duties include direct services to mothers across prenatal, labor, delivery, postpartum stages, organizing prenatal groups, and making appropriate referrals and community outreach.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant human services field or lpn credentials, along with a minimum of 18 hours of coursework in early childhood education, psychology, social work, health, and/Or child development. Preferred qualifications include experience with pregnant/Parenting teens and low-Income families, specific certifications (First aid, cpr, doula), and knowledge of maternal-Infant health dynamics.
