Core responsibilities
Core faculty are primarily responsible for assisting in the administration of the master of physician assistant studies (Mpas) program, including curriculum development, delivery, and review across didactic and clinical phases. Responsibilities also encompass teaching assignments, clinical course coordination, academic advising, admissions, and institutional service.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of clinical experience as a practicing provider and hold a master's degree from an accredited pa program or have a related health degree (Md/Phd/Np/Do). A current pa, np, md, or do license, or eligibility for licensure within one year, is required, along with knowledge of educational and adult learning theories.
