Pharmacy Technician

This role involves providing skilled and technical assistance to a registered pharmacist in a licensed veterinary teaching hospital pharmacy, serving both large and small animal patients. Key duties include assisting in dispensing pharmaceuticals, maintaining comprehensive pharmaceutical inventory, stocking automated dispensing systems, and managing pharmacy database records.

Candidates will be hired at levels i through iv based on education and experience, with level i requiring only a high school diploma or equivalent. All levels require an alabama pharmacy technician license upon hire, and while degrees can substitute for experience, the indicated education level is mandatory with no substitutions allowed.
