Teacher of Health and Social Care / HE - Post Primary

The teacher is responsible for planning and preparing courses and lessons, teaching assigned pupils, and assessing, recording, and reporting on their development and attainment. Duties also include promoting pupil well-Being, providing educational and career guidance, consulting with parents, and maintaining good order and safety.

Essential requirements include holding a recognized teaching qualification for northern ireland grant-Aided schools and a level 6 degree relevant to health and social care or related subjects, along with a minimum of three months' teaching experience in health and social care or home economics at key stage 3 or 4. Applicants must also be registered with the general teaching council for northern ireland (Gtcni) before starting the post.
