Teacher - Primary (Initially Foundation Stage)

The teacher is responsible for planning and preparing courses and lessons, teaching assigned pupils according to their educational needs, and assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress and attainment. General duties include promoting pupil well-Being, providing educational and social guidance, consulting with parents, and participating in staff development and school meetings.

Essential requirements include holding a recognized teaching qualification for northern ireland grant-Aided schools and having a minimum of three years of demonstrable teaching experience at the foundation stage within the last eight years. Candidates must also be registered with the general teaching council for northern ireland (Gtcni) before taking up the post.
