Teacher of English - Maternity Position

The teacher is responsible for planning and preparing courses and lessons, teaching assigned pupils according to their educational needs, and assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress and attainment. General duties include promoting pupil well-Being, providing educational and career guidance, consulting with parents, and participating in relevant meetings.

Essential requirements include holding a recognized teaching qualification for northern ireland grant-Aided schools and a relevant degree to teach english as the main subject, along with at least one year of demonstrable experience teaching english at key stage 3. Applicants must also be registered with the general teaching council for northern ireland (Gtcni) before starting the post.
