Program Eligibility Specialist

The program eligibility specialist determines eligibility for state and federally funded programs by conducting face-To-Face and phone interviews, processing verification needs, and preparing childcare contracts. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation, communicating changes promptly, and performing mathematical computations related to eligibility.

Level i requires a high school diploma plus two years of related education/Experience and one year of client casework experience, specifically needing to be bilingual/Biliterate in english and spanish. Level ii requires a total of five years of related education/Experience in administrative functions or case management, plus one year as a pes i, with a preference for an associate's or bachelor's degree respectively.
