Classroom Assistant (Special Educational Needs)

The classroom assistant will support pupils with special educational needs both inside and outside the classroom, assisting with educational support, personal care needs, and implementing authorized educational and care plans under the direction of the class teacher.

Essential requirements include holding a minimum level 2 qualification in a relevant area and having at least 6 weeks of experience in a formal learning environment or placement. Candidates must also demonstrate working knowledge of health and safety, child development needs, and child protection/Safeguarding.
