Head Start Program Aide- Carrollton

The program aide supports classroom staff with all activities, including lesson plans and field trips, and assists in developing culturally relevant materials for children and families. This role also involves supervising children during meals to encourage good nutrition and social skills, and maintaining classroom cleanliness.

A minimum requirement is a high school diploma or ged, along with experience working with preschool-Age children and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal history background check, submit to drug screening, and demonstrate knowledge of child development and abuse reporting regulations.
