Occupational Therapists Full Time - Bay Shore, NY

  • The Children’s Services of ACLD provides a continuum of services to children from ages three to twenty-one in their pre-school and after-school programs.
  • We currently have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Bay Shore Facility.
  • In this role, your responsibility will include but not be limited to providing occupational therapy services to children in a transdisciplinary environment.
  • Therapy focuses on assisting child in maximizing their level of function in their play skills and Adaptive Daily Living skills.
  • Specific performances areas such as sensory, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual and cognitive functioning.

Position requires

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapy Licensure from New York State Education Department
  • Must be physically able to handle all aspects of the position including running, bending and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Experience with pediatrics.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
