Community Outreach Worker (PERINATAL COMMUNITY HEALTH)

The community outreach worker will conduct extensive outreach to recruit eligible low-Income bipoc individuals for community birth doula and postpartum doula trainings in compton and south los angeles. This involves providing information and education on hmhba's program services, acting as the organization's representative at various events, and building professional relationships with local organizations.

Candidates must possess at least six months of experience as a birth and postpartum doula working with pregnant women, new mothers, and infants, and must be very comfortable with public speaking and giving presentations. Required certifications include being a certified birth doula and certified postpartum doula, along with having a valid california driver's license and reliable transportation when necessary.
