About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-person therapy-based tutoring for a Pre-Kindergarten (PK) student. This is a long-term engagement expected to last 3–6 months, focusing on supporting the student's speech, communication, and/or developmental skills through structured sessions.

• Schedule: 1–3 sessions per week (1 hour per session) Wednesdays–Fridays: 2:00
• PM onwards
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 NN

Responsibilities

Provide individualized speech therapy or occupational therapy support to a young learner. Conduct 1-hour in-person sessions at the specified location. Use developmentally appropriate techniques to support speech, language, and/or motor skill development. Monitor the student’s progress and adjust strategies as needed. Communicate with the family or coordinator regarding progress and session outcomes.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Certified Occupational Therapist (OT). Experience working with early childhood or Pre-K students is preferred. Ability to provide in-person services in San Leandro, CA. Patient, engaging, and skilled in working with young learners. Why Tutor Me Education?
